A BATTERY MODULE

The present disclosure relates to a battery module (100). The battery module (100) having a first extension along a first direction (x), a second extension along a second direction (y), the battery module (100) comprising a plurality of battery cells arranged in a plurality of battery rows, each battery row extending along the first direction (x) between a first battery cell (211, 211a, 211b, 211c, 21 Id) at a first end (201) of the battery module (100) and a last battery cell (212) at a second end (202) of the battery module (100), the battery module (100) further comprising:- at least one cooling duct (221),- at least one connector (220) having an inlet (223a) and/or an outlet (223b), - wherein the battery cells comprises a first battery group (200-1) in which the first batery cells (21 la, 21 lb of the plurality of batery rows are positioned at a distance (XI, X2) from the first end (201) of the batery module (100) as measured in the first direction (x), and a second batery group (200-2 in which the first batery cells (21 lc, 21 Id) of the plurality of batery rows are positioned at a larger distance (X3, X4) from the first end (201) of the batery module (100) as measured in the first direction (x) than the first batery cells (21 la, 21 lb) of the first batery group (200-1)- wherein the at least one connector (220) is placed between the first end (201) and the first batery cells (21 lc, 21 Id) of the second batery group (200-2)
