Zusammenfassung:	Present invention relates to a patient lift (100) and a contacting apparatus (200) for engaging a track conductor (370) of a track (31, 32, 33) in a track system (30) of the patient lift (100). The contacting apparatus is adapted to be mounted to a hoist trolley (103) of the patient lift (100) movably connected to the track system (30). The contacting apparatus (200) comprises a biasing arrangement (220) adapted to resiliently bias the contact carrier (240) against the track conductor (370) of the track (31, 32, 33).
