Zusammenfassung:	Herein a method (100) of controlling a powertrain (3) is disclosed, wherein the powertrain (3) comprises a combustion engine (1) and a gearbox (5). The method (100) comprises the steps of controlling (110) a torque output of the combustion engine (1), in dependence of a torque demand, up to a maximum torque output limit (tm) during continuous operation of the combustion engine (1), changing (120) a transmission ratio of the gearbox (5), and controlling (130) the torque output of the combustion engine (1) to selectively exceed the maximum torque output limit (tm) during the step of changing (120) the transmission ratio of the gearbox (5). The present disclosure further relates to a computer program, a computerreadable medium, a control arrangement (7), a powertrain (3), and a vehicle (13).
