Zusammenfassung:FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: supplying liquid metal from pouring ladle into vacuumizer; creating residual pressure in vacuumizer; supplying liquid metal into intermediate ladle through branch pipe and further into crystallizer; drawing continuously cast ingots from them and regulating flow rate of liquid metal from pouring ladle by three-plate slide valve. During casting process, curtain from inert gas under pressure is formed in space around slide valve, with inert gas pressure being set within the range of 1.05-1.2 of current value of ferrostatic metal pressure in pouring ladle and this pressure is decreased from maximum value at the beginning of pouring process to minimum value at the end of pouring process. Apparatus has pouring ladle with three-plate slide valve mounted on ladle bottom, pouring cup mounted in pouring ladle bottom, pouring collector positioned in immovable lower plate of slide valve, middle plate drive, vacuumizer conjugated with pouring ladle bottom and provided with discharge branch pipe positioned in its bottom and extending into working vessel of intermediate ladle. Pouring cups of intermediate ladle are positioned in its bottom. Apparatus has vacuum pipeline connected with vacuum pump. Slide valve body is enclosed in housing secured to pouring ladle bottom and provided with side opening. Middle plate drive tie-rod is inserted through housing side opening. Housing bottom is provided with opening for receiving pouring collector. Branch pipe is connected to housing. Sealing members are positioned at locations where housing comes into contact with pouring ladle bottom, slide valve drive tie-rod, pouring collector and vacuumizer throat end. EFFECT: increased efficiency, stabilized continuous pouring process and increased strength of slide valve. Технический эффект при использовании изобретения заключается в повышении производительности и стабильности процесса поточного вакуумирования металла при непрерывной разливке, а также в повышении стойкости шиберного затвора.
