SUBSTANCE: claimed process for preparing composition based on low density polyethylene and mineral filler talc comprises dry mixing of components form low density polyethylene and talc. Particle size of polyethylene in not greater than 3 mm, particle size of talc is not greater than 0.3 mm; weight content of polyethylene is 70-90% and weight ratio of talc is 10-90%. Extrusion is carried out at 200-280 C characteristics of the polymeric composition (wt%): at least 1 calcined residue insoluble in HCl, not greater than 1 moisture content; not greater than 0.35 iron compounds calculated for FeO/soluble in HCl 0.6 iron content calculated for FeO; not greater than 0.2 iron content extracted by magnetic; not greater than 0.2 water-insoluble salt content; not greater than 0.01 Cl ion content in aqueous extract; not greater than 0.01 SOion content in aqueous extract; not greater than 0.035 manganese lower oxide content; not greater than 0.015 copper content; at least 30.0 magnesium oxide content; 0.7 not greater than calcium oxide content; no arsenic content; not greater than 64 SiOcontent; not greater than 0.01 Zn content; not greater than 0.01 Pb content; not greater than 5.0 weigh losses during calcination; not greater than 2% residue on net N 009; at least 705 whiteness.
