Zusammenfassung:FIELD: medical equipment.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medical instrumental equipment and, more specifically, to a force sensor and an electrophysiological catheter, and can be used for interventional treatment, e.g., of cardiac arrhythmias and stable hypertension. The force sensor for measuring the reaction force in response to the contact force applied by the distal end of the catheter to the wall of a vessel or tissue is comprised of an elastic tube and a deformation sensor located on the elastic tube. The force sensor additionally comprises a cut transverse groove formed in the elastic tube, wherein the transverse groove has a first wall and a second wall. The force sensor additionally comprises at least one first restraining structure located between two opposite ends of the transverse groove, wherein each of said at least one first restraining structure comprises a first restraining section and a second restraining section, wherein the first restraining section is connected with the first wall, the second restraining section is connected with the second wall. When the transverse groove is deformed axially, the first restraining section and the second restraining section are capable of moving in response relative to each other until engagement with each other. The electrophysiological catheter is comprised of a distal end and the described force sensor located at the distal end. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a force sensor and an electrophysiological catheter. The force sensor can be effectively protected from any significant impact when the electrophysiological catheter is directed through a cannula.
