FIXING ROD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF PELVIC FRACTURES OF PELVIC RING BY OSTEOSYNTHESIS

FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Fixing rod for surgical treatment of pelvic ring fractures is osteosynthesis in the form of an elongated rod of two parts: proximal bent in horizontal plane along longitudinal axis of fixing rod of elongated stiletto with rounded conical tip and distal part of larger diameter. Longitudinal axes of the proximal bent elongated stiletto with the rounded conic tip and the distal portion of the larger diameter of the fixing rod are positioned depending on the anatomical shape of the patient's bones at an angle α from 7° up to 15° to each other. Proximal elongated stylet with rounded conical tip of fixing rod is made of triangular section by removing three chamfers at angle of 120° on initial round workpiece of fixing rod with creation of triangular cross-section with thickness of 2.75 mm. Rounded tapered tip of proximal elongated stylet of fixing rod is made with radius of 0.5 mm and with cone angle β 10°-14°. Cone-shaped transition part of fixing rod between distal part and proximal elongated stitch with rounded conical tip is made with length of 10-12 mm, tapering from diameter of 5 mm of distal portion of fixing rod to diameter of 3 mm of proximal elongated stiletto with rounded conical tip, which is made changing into its bent part. Distal portion of the fixing rod is 19-21 mm long and is provided with a body of the fixing rod at angle of 90° to its axis "eye for locking" of fixing rod to pubic bone after insertion of fixing rod into fixed fragments of pubic bones. "Eye for locking" is made with rotation around its axis at angle of 20°-45° to the longitudinal axis of the distal portion of the fixing rod depending on the anatomical features of the structure of the pubic bones of the operated patient and the side of the osteosynthesis of the right and/or left pubic bone of the pelvic ring. "Eye for locking" has thickness of 2.5 mm and width of 7 mm of rectangular shape with rounded angles. In body of "eye for locking" there are two through holes with diameter of 3.5 mm at angle of 90° to its longitudinal axis for arrangement of self-tapping fixing screws.EFFECT: invention provides sufficient reliable fixation of pubic bone fragments, considerable reduction of intraoperative radial load during the surgical intervention with simultaneous reduction of the surgical intervention time, reliable fixation of fragments of pubic bone when operating a patient with increased weight, early postoperative activation
