The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of angular superresolution in the receiving digital antenna array, in which electromagnetic waves are received from radio sources in a given sector of angles along one coordinate direction, quadrature digital signals are generated at the outputs of the channels of the real aperture, in contrast to the prototype the receiving digital antenna array is broken into overlapping subarrays in such a way that the gain and beam width of the subarrays in the viewed coordinate direction are constant, and the step between the phase centers of the subarrays is less than the wavelength and satisfies the condition of electric scanning of beams in a given sector of angles, the output signals of the subarrays are formed by summing the quadrature digital signals of the channels of the real aperture with complex weighting coefficients that determine the direction of phasing of the channels of the sublattices/subarrays; according to the output signals of the sublattices, signals are generated at the outputs of the virtual aperture channels, a directional pattern is formed in the angular region of the receiving beams of the subarrays by weight summing of signals from the outputs of the virtual aperture channels, the directional patterns of the virtual aperture are formed in other angular regions of the receiving beams of the subarrays by changing the direction of the phasing of the subarray channels when generating the output signals of the subarrays, then the directional patterns of the virtual aperture for different angular regions of orientation of the receiving beams of the subarrays are combined.EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase the resolution of the antenna when the signal level in the channels of the digital antenna array is below the noise level.1 cl, 1 tbl, 4 dwg
