Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: measurement.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and is intended for measurement of surface profile of railway wheel. Method comprises scanning a wheel profile using a device. Method includes performing calibration and recording angular coordinates. Obtained information is processed in a hardware-software system which performs algorithmic processing of information in the form. Calibration is carried out by measuring a reference plane to obtain initial angles by measuring measures with reference values of wheel profile deviation. Coordinates of profile of rolling profile are corrected taking into account measured average height of profile irregularities determined by deformations of elastic element with strain gage fixed with possibility of contact with measured surface and connected to computer. Device comprises a movable part with a free end secured to move above the profile and in contact with it, and a post fixed at a right angle and a bracket for supporting the movable part. Movable part comprises one first lever and one second lever, wherein said levers are connected together at ends by first angular displacement sensor, besides, the first lever is connected to the bracket through the second sensor of angular displacements, and on the free end of the second lever the roller is fixed. Angular movement transducers are connected via microcontroller to computer. Device is equipped with a plane-parallel measure rigidly fixed on the post and fixed on the free end of the second lever with possibility of contact with the wheel profile during scanning with an elastic element with a resistive strain gage connected to the computer.EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy of measurements at control of geometrical parameters of railway wheel profile.2 cl, 7 dwg
