PLATE FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF OLD PELVIC RING INJURIES IN MEN

FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Plate for reconstruction of old pelvic ring injuries in men is made in form of bent in horizontal plane plates with bend and with extreme sections for placement on the iliac and pubic bones of the reconstructed pubic articulation of the patient's pelvic ring, including on both sides of the pubic symphysis. Internal radius of bending in horizontal plane of plate is selected with radius of curvature from 49 to 58 mm. Plate bent in horizontal plane is provided with a flat horseshoe-shaped closed fixing element bent at an angle to the plane of the plate bent in the horizontal plane, the element made bent in shape repeating shape of bend of plate bent in horizontal plane. Angle of bending of the horseshoe-shaped closed fixing element in relation to the plane bent in the horizontal plane is selected by the corresponding anatomical form of ischial-pubic branches of pubic bones of the reconstructed pelvic ring of the patient. Branches of horseshoe-shaped closed fixing element are arranged at an angle α from 28 to 36° to vertical axis of bent plate. In each extreme section of plate bent in horizontal plane, there are symmetrical to plate center from 3 to 5 holes with diameter from 3 to 5 mm with conic face to accommodate fixing screws. Center-to-center distances of holes are selected from 7 to 12 mm. Conical chamfers are made on the plate on the side opposite to the side intended for contact with the pubic bone surface. Diameter of holes cylindrical part corresponds to diameter of fixing screws used. On each branch of horseshoe-shaped closed fixing element there are two pairs of holes to accommodate fixing screws. First pair of holes is made in the middle part of each branch of horseshoe-shaped closed fixing element along the longitudinal axis of the branch. Distance between centers of holes makes 10 to 11 mm. Second pair of holes is made in lower part of horseshoe-shaped closed fixing element and holes are located one above another on axis at an angle β from 14 to 16° to vertical axis of bent semi-oval plate. Distance between centers of holes makes from 7 to 9 mm.EFFECT: invention provides reliable anatomical recovery of pelvis shape and support function with simultaneous absence of multiplane displacements of fixed bones, excluding the possibility of destroying the plate fixed on pelvic bones in men from bending loads, creating uniform compression of bone fragments throughout the area of pubic and iliac bo
