FIELD: electrical engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a packer controlled by an electric drive. Packer controlled by electric drive comprises electric drive in housing, anchoring assembly with mounting cone with slips, sealing element with its lower and upper stops, strung on the power shaft and power shaft, which is a traction element and pusher. Power shaft has working and additional zones and is configured to transfer sealing element from transport to working position. Power shaft is connected to electric drive. Working area of power shaft is separated from additional zone by controlled retainer made with groove and located on outer side of power shaft. In the power shaft there are radial channels, in which the balls are placed, made with possibility of partial pushing from the radial channels into the groove, for fixation of power shaft with controlled retainer. Fixator is made with possibility of activation only in case of emergency situations and control by increasing cable tension, within its working strength, which leads to the element locking element edge, which holds the said balls in the controlled retainer groove, in the packer standard operation mode. Electric drive is located below the sealing element and the anchoring unit.
