METHOD OF TREATING PATIENTS WITH VERTICAL DISCLUSION IN POSTERIOR AREAS

FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for use in orthodontic treatment of patients with vertical disclusion in lateral areas. Impressions are received from jaws, cast models are cast. After casting of gypsum models, values of vertical slots, mm, in area of first premolars, second premolars and first molars of upper jaw with teeth-antagonists are measured. On the plaster model of the upper jaw in the region of the first premolars, second premolars and first molars, an individual layer of silicone impression mass is formed with height that corresponds to values of vertical slots measured earlier. Tray boundaries are marked on plaster model of upper jaw: from vestibular surface of frontal group of teeth 3 mm above gingival edge, from palatine surface of frontal group of teeth 2 mm above gingival edge. In the region of the first premolars, second premolars and first molars of the upper jaw, a boundary of U-shaped sawing of the tray is marked - along a distal edge of the canine, from the contact surface with the first premolar by 1.5 mm and along the mesial edge of the second molar, deviating from contact surface with first molar by 1.5 mm; gypsum model of the upper jaw is placed in a vacuum moulder, the model is crimped with a thermoplastic plate. Cutting of tray is performed on boundaries applied on gypsum model; grinding and polishing of tray. In the oral cavity of the patient, from the vestibular and palatal surfaces of the first premolars, second premolars and first molars of the upper jaw, composite mini-brackets are fixed; mouth cavity is fitted in mouth cavity; applying elastic rods, for each tooth, a separate elastic ring is used - from the mini-bracket with the buccal tooth surface, swinging the elastic ring through the occlusal surface of the tray, to the mini-bracket on the palatal surface; thereby applying elastic tie-rods for first premolars, second premolars and first molars of upper jaw; patient is trained in handling the tray, gives recommendations on the mode of use; patient's control examinations are performed by an orthodontist every three weeks; after chewing surface of side groups of teeth of occlusal surface of tray is performed grinding chewing surface of lateral groups of teeth of upper jaw under control of occlusion, to create tight junctions of upper teeth of upper jaw teeth-antagonists of lower jaw.EFFECT: method enables eliminating possible allergic reactions during treatment,
