METHOD FOR TEMPORARY AURICLE PROSTHESIS FOR PERIOD OF POSTOPERATIVE FORMATION OF EXTERNAL ACOUSTIC MEATUS

FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology (otosurgery) and dentistry, and is intended for use in temporary prosthetics of absent concha in microtia and anotia and formation of postoperative auditory canal in stenosis and atresia. That is followed by computed tomography of the patient's head with absent (anotia) or undeveloped (microtia) auricle. Three-dimensional image of auricle is isolated from computer tomogram and external and internal auditory passages "from healthy side". Obtained file is converted into a digital CAD\CAM module of the system. Absenting auricle and parameters of external acoustic meatus are modeled by mirror image rotation of structures of the opposite side. Cuffs of adjoining to the prosthetic field are formed. Obtained image is reduced along the entire surface by 0.5 mm, 3D print of the postoperative ear prosthesis is made from a medical polymer. Obtained polymeric composition of the ear prosthesis is coated with a layer of medical silicone 1-2 mm thick by a layer of the ear canal, by layer-by-layer application. Transmastoid approach of external auditory canal is formed with diameter corresponding to auditory passage diameter of manufactured prosthesis with skin flaps laid to bone edges of trepanation cavity. Forming ear prosthesis is fixed with introduction of a part of the prosthesis in the formed surgical canal corresponding to the auditory passage of the patient, due to silicone adhesive applied on the cuff, and qualitative marginal adjunction of the temporary auricle prosthesis to the skin.
