Method of cleaning the inner surface of tanks from bottom sediments using chemical reagents, in which the level of bottom sediments is measured at several points on the surface of a tank bottom, it is ensured that the tank is filled with oil to a level sufficient to operate a stationary system for erosion of bottom sediments, by injection or delivery of the required amount of oil. Oil or oil-soluble dispersing agents are fed into a tank in the amount of 0.1-1 % of the total volume of oil in the tank. Then, erosion of bottom sediments is carried out using a stationary system of erosion of bottom sediments. After erosion of the bottom sediments to achieve constant values of the height of the bottom sediments, when several measurements are taken, the mixture of oil from the oil or oil-soluble dispersant is pumped out of a reservoir and then degassed.
