Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to cable industry and can be used to determine temperature coefficient of phase (TCP) and temperature coefficient of attenuation (TCA) of cable assemblies. Method is carried out using a climatic test device comprising a climatic chamber, a vector network analyzer, as well as computer with installed software and control unit connected through control, switching and data transmission circuits. In the climatic chamber gateway, the switching unit with connectors for connection of several cable assemblies is installed, one of which is used as a control one. Connectors are connected to the circuit analyzer through two switches, and the device is configured to automatically register the steady-state value of the phase of the control cable assembly. When the steady-state value of the phase of the control cable assembly is reached, the moment of achieving temperature equilibrium in the climatic chamber is determined, after which the values of the complex transmission coefficientof each cable assembly are measured and stored at the normalizing temperature. Similarly, values of complex transmission coefficientof each cable assembly are measured and stored at each of specified temperature points. Switching of climatic chamber temperature modes is carried out automatically, with delay from moment of registration of steady-state phase value for not more than five seconds. Based on all obtained values 521, graphs (TCP) and (TCA), as well as test reports of each cable assembly are generated.EFFECT: group of inventions provides reduction of labor intensity and total time of tests.13 cl, 2 dwg, 2 tbl
