Perform the following steps: pre-radiation topometry, dose-anatomical planning, preparation and execution of positioning before irradiation, and irradiation of the eye with a proton beam. In this case, the measurement of the angle between the optical and visual axes of the eye individually for each patient is included in the pre-radiation topometry stage. In addition to monitoring the stability of the position of the eye during irradiation, the positioning of the pupil position by a group of digital video cameras is introduced into the composition of the positioning stage by visualizing the position of the isocenter of the beam unit and the coordinate system of the positioner. According to the readings of digital video cameras, the head of the positioner is rotated around the beam axis to bring the line connecting the pupils of the eyes to a horizontal position. Rotation of the patient's head immobilized in the headholder around the beam axis adjusts the position of the patient's eye to the readings of digital video cameras. System of four video cameras is used, two of which, directed towards each other, are made with the possibility of positioning with the visualization of the isocenter of the beam unit and the coordinate system of the positioner while simultaneously controlling with the help of two other cameras the direction of gaze and changing the position of the eye during irradiation with precise positioning of the right or left eye according to the position of the pupil. Positioner's headholder is designed to immobilize the head and additional degrees of freedom in the form of a left-right tilt and a nod back and forth of the patient's head at angles of ±6°. Headholder is a carrier frame and has attachments for individual means of immobilizing the head, such as a headrest, dental splint, and a thermoplastic mask. In this case, the rotations are performed by manual transmission on the basis of gears.EFFECT: method provides reduction of time losses for excessively repeated operations in the preparation of patient irradiation, allows, taking into account the ways of propagation of light rays through the eyes refracting medium, to determine the position of the pupils of the eye for accurate irradiation of an intraocular malignant tumor more accurately, without damaging nearby tissues |
