METHOD FOR DETERMINING DEGREE OF GAS ODORIZATION, ODORIZED WITH A MIXTURE OF NATURAL MERCAPTANS

FIELD: gas industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technique of analysis of composition of gas mixtures, including those containing odor components, and can be used in gas industry and other sectors using gas odorized with a mixture of natural mercaptans to determine degree of natural gas odorization. Object of present invention is to determine degree of odorization and intensity of gas odor, odorized with a mixture of natural mercaptans by measuring concentrations of individual components of odorant. Method of determining degree of gas odorization, odorized with a mixture of natural mercaptans, is that the analysis of individual components of the odorant is carried out chromatographically with a detector sensitive to sulfur-containing compounds.
