Method for automatically controlling the crystallization process in a multi-hull evaporator, for example, for production of table salt, includes maintaining and correcting the set ratio of "initial solution flow rate - heating water flow", depending on the concentration of the solid phase in the evaporated suspension, determined by the ratio of the specific conductivity of the slurry and its temperature, while the pressure in the separator of each housing of the multi-body evaporator is measured, and the value of the concentration of the solid phase in the evaporated suspension is determined by the expressionwhere β - volume fraction of non-conductive solid phase in suspension; χ- specific electrical conductivity of the liquid phase of the evaporated suspension, S/cm; χ- specific electric conductivity of the evaporated suspension, S/cm; K - coefficient, the value of which depends on the shape of the solid particles in the evaporated suspension, for example, for spherical particles k = 0.5.
