METHOD OF PRESERVING NATURAL GAS BY PREVENTING ITS EMISSIONS INTO ATMOSPHERE DURING REPAIR OF GAS PIPELINES

FIELD: gas production industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas industry and can be used in repair of gas pipelines in order to maintain and further use natural gas contained therein. Object of the present invention is to provide an device for conserving natural gas by preventing its emission into the atmosphere during the repair of gas pipelines, in which gas from the area to be repaired is directed to the working section of the gas pipeline and then to the consumer with minimal losses. Task is solved by constructing a technological scheme, providing gas to the consumer up to pressure 1...1.2 MPa and injection of water under pressure into the gas pipeline section to be repaired in order to increase the gas pressure in the pipeline to the value, allowing to deliver residual gas to the consumer. Device for preserving natural gas by preventing its emissions in atmosphere when repairing gas pipelines includes the repaired section of the gas pipeline, limited by crane units, gas pipeline-tap to the consumer. It is proposed to supplement the existing technological scheme with an installation for supplying water under pressure to the gas pipeline section to be repaired in order to increase the gas pressure in it and further develop it to the consumer, installation for drying the gas supplied to the consumer, a storage barn for storage of water, as well as an installation for its purification.EFFECT: proposed invention allows to save not less than 75 % of the fuel, and also to exclude the harm to the environment that occurs when the gas is released into the atmosphere or when it is burned.1 cl, 1 dwg Изобретение относится к газовой промышленности и может быть использовано при ремонте газопроводов с целью сохранения и дальнейшего использования находящегося в нем природного газа.
