METHOD AND CIRCUIT FOR DETECTING AND MINIMIZING METHANE HAZARD IN AREA OF MINING FACE

Method consists in fact that on advance cleaning face is periodically localisation areas, in which a stress concentration (N), using method of passive seismic velocity tomography using seismometers (8) and low-frequency geophones (9). At that, points of stress concentration (N) in front of front of mining face are localized by performing active seismic amplitude tomography attenuation-attenuation with due allowance for arrangement of cleaning machine (13) in working face (B), then correlation of above parameters in time and space is performed, and after establishing that coefficient of correlation exceeds certain critical value, perform preventive procedures, minimizing methane hazard. In scheme according to invention to analytical circuit (5) is connected seismic recording system (1), methane measuring system (3), actuating circuit (6), as well as warning signals panel (7).
