Zusammenfassung:FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to steel strip (3) rolling at several consecutive mill stands (F1-F5). Note here that steel strip is rolled to final depth, first, in austenite state and, then after cooling by fluid, in ferrite state at one or several stands. To ensure ferrite state of steel strip after cooling, strip (3) final depth is set smaller than 3 mm. Difference between temperature at steel strip exit from last stand (F3) before fluid cooling and equilibrium ultimate austenite temperature is set by preliminary temperature adjustment at said exit not over 70 K, preferably not over 50 K, preferably, lower than 25 K. Note here that fluid cooling between two stands subject to length Lc of cooling section 1 is performed by feed of fluid on strip (3) both sides in amount of at least Qu>284/(Lc) l/min per strip width meter, preferably Qu>2*284/(Lc) l/min and per strip width meter, but not over Qu=7*284/(Lc) l/min and per strip width meter, preferably Qu284/(Lc) литра в минуту и на метр ширины полосы, преимущественно Qu>2*284/(Lc) литра в минуту и на метр ширины полосы, но не более Qu=7*284/(Lc) литра в минуту и на метр ширины полосы, предпочтительно Qu
