Zusammenfassung:FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: original urine sample is divided into two equal samples; particle size histogram is prepared and used to find a percentage of an oligomer form of Tamm-Horsfall protein T&HE(7); the sample histograms are compared. A Tamm-Horsfall protein identification protein is presented by monoclonal antibodies undergoing an immune-affine reaction with Tamm-Horsfall protein. The second sample is used to recover Tamm-Horsfall protein T&HE(28); and both urine samples are used to measure the oligomer form of Tamm-Horsfall protein T&HE(28) in the free condition and in aggregates with oxalate microcrystals (%).
