Zusammenfassung:FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: dry coke quenching apparatus has a vertical housing 1 with charge and discharge holes, a pre-combustion chamber 2, a coke quenching chamber 3, pipes for feeding gas coolant 5 with devices for regulating flow rate 6, a peripheral distributor for feeding gas coolant 4 lying in the bottom part of the housing 1, a central distributor for feeding gas coolant lying along the vertical axis in the bottom part of the housing and made in form of two conical coaxial diffusers 8, 10 lying on the path of the coke, where the diffusers are arranged such that a cavity forms between them, the inner diffuser 8 is connected to the pipe for feeding gas coolant 5, and the edges of the diffusers 10 lie at a different angle to the vertical. The apparatus is fitted with a coke collector 7 in form of a conical confusor installed before the central distributor and with a gap from it, a screen worn on the inner surface of the diffuser 8 of the central distributor and having an edge which is parallel to the edge of the outer diffuser 10; the inner diffuser 8 is connected to the pipe 5 by a hollow cylinder 11 worn with a gap on its outlet hole; the cylinder 11 is inserted into the gas pipe 5; walls of the cylinder 11 at points of connected to the pipe 5 have uniformly arranged holes 13 for outlet of gas; and a splitter 12 in form of an angle section is placed inside the cylinder 11 along its axis.
