Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: mining. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for dry dressing of quartz sands for production of glass concentrate includes charging from quartz sand stack into two receiving hoppers with flat grates, to remove lumpy inclusions with size of more than 150 mm, supply of sand from receiving hoppers by electric vibration feeders and belt conveyor for screen sizing according to class 15 mm at vibration sieve, sending oversize product into dump and supply of through product by two serially installed belt conveyors into bucket belt elevator, with the help of which sand is transported into accumulating hopper and further downstream for drying into drum dryer to remove natural moisture down to 0.12% of humidity and extraction of fraction of -0.1 mm, containing 0.265 wt % of ferric oxide into a separate finished product, primary removal of intense magnetic inclusions from sands produced after drying with the help of laminated magnetic separator installed over belt conveyor, which supplies sands to double-stage sizing of sands by means of screen sizing at serially installed vibration screens, with production of fractions at the first stage of sizing with size of -15.0 +1.2 mm, -1.2 +0.8 mm, which contain 0.214 wt % of ferric oxide sent to dump, and fractions having size of -0.8 +0.1 mm sent to the second stage of sizing with production of fraction having size of -0.25 +0.1 mm, which contains 0.249 wt % sent for production of construction mixtures, and fractions of -0.8 +0.25 mm sent for the first stage of magnetic separation performed at roller magnetic separator with magnetic induction of 0.45 tesla to remove intense magnetic inclusions, sending non-magnetic fraction by belt conveyor to the second stage of magnetic separation performed at roller magnetic separator with magnetic induction of 1.1 or 1.7 tesla to remove weakly magnetic inclusions from processed sand and to produce non-magnetic fraction, which is final product - dressed glass concentrate. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency of quartz sands dressing and production of high quality concentrate, reduction of labour costs. ^ 1 dwg, 3 tbl
