Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: friction machine comprises motor, belt transmission, drive shaft, friction assembly including tested balls arranged on bearing surface, thrust bearing, device to measure the moment of friction, support, sliding bush whereon loading system acts representing a bell crank, weight and thrust cone. Friction machine incorporates thyristor system connected with power supply and motor, rotary bush with a slot and stop fixed opposite the latter. Aforesaid support has a vertical slot to accommodate guide pin fixed on sliding bush. Sliding bush top supports post whereto post is attached to support strained beam that passes through rotary bush slot and stays in contact with rotary bush stop. Friction assembly comprises three balls arranged in cage and fixed by pressure cover with the help pf bolt joint, while steel furnished gaskets are arranged between said balls and pressure cover. Bush is provided with flange with pins fixed thereon with their lower ends accommodated in holes made in friction assembly pressure cover. Loading-bearing surface of said balls represents a ring fixed on rotary bush with lock screw. Pin is fitted at the cage center. Ball is arranged between the drive shaft sleeve and friction mechanism pressure cover. Initial wear spots are formed in alignment. For this, new ring is fitted in place, load is created, friction unit is coupled with the drive and alignment is started. Then the machine is stopped and initial wear spots are measured on balls. Then new ring is fitted in place its surface being coated with tested lubricant. Friction assembly is mounted on ring surface, load is applied on coupling friction assembly with the drive and tests are made. Then machine is stopped, friction assembly is uncoupled and ball wear spots are measured. Average size of said spot allows determining vertical wear of the balls. ^ EFFECT: simple procedure, higher accuracy. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg
