Zusammenfassung:FIELD: power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to nuclear engineering and can be used at works manufacturing fuel assemblies for nuclear reactor, and namely during repair of spacer grids of fuel assemblies. Manufacturing method of spacer grids of fuel assemblies involves manufacture of a six-sided rim and cells with inner protrusions, arrangement of cells in the rim and attaching them by spot welding between themselves and to the rim. Then, spacer grids are annealed, and cells are controlled with calibrating devices and burnished or crimped as per control results. For cell burnishing a cylindrical calibrator is used. It is placed in spacer grid cell throughout its height without any effort. Calibrator is rotated about its axis. At that, working parts of calibrator interact with cell protrusions. Calibrator is turned till working parts of calibrator are disengaged from cell protrusions. Device for manufacturing spacer grid of fuel assembly consists of a cylindrical calibrator and a handle. Diametre of calibrator is more than diametre of circle inscribed in the cell of spacer grid between its protrusions. Throughout calibrator length there made are flattened surfaces parallel to calibrator axis. Number of flattened surfaces corresponds to number of protrusions made in spacer grid cell. Diametre of cylinder built tangential to calibrator flattened surfaces is less than diametre of the circle inscribed in the cell of spacer grid. Handle is fixed on one end of calibrator perpendicular to its axis.
