The result is achieved by that, the wireless device selectively sends data on capabilities of the wireless device to an application program loading server and that server selectively determines access to one or more application programs, based on data on capabilities of the wireless device, attempting to gain access. ^ EFFECT: provision for adequate data on capabilities of a wireless device to a service supplier without complicating manufacture of the wireless device. ^ 46 cl, 6 dwg
