Zusammenfassung:FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: composite mold contains cooled plates with vertical ribs in area of plates joint. Cathetus a and b, forming ribs, are in ratio a/b=1:(1.0-1.3). Relation of small cathetus a to small side h of mold is 1:(15-20), relation of big cathetus b to big side l of mold is 1:(18-24), and relation of small side h to big side l of mold is 1:1.2. Total area of mold is 1075-1080 cm2. Dimensions of mold, located in the range of declared relations, provide reduction of surface defects of uninterruptedly-casted blanks. ^ EFFECT: increasing of mold stability, improvement of macrostructure of melted uninterruptedly-casted blanks. ^ 1 dwg
