ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND SELF-ADHESIVE MATERIAL BASED THEREON

FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of adhesive composition and self-adhesive material based thereon suitable for repair and maintenance works in aviation, automotive industry, shipbuilding and other fields. Adhesive composition contains isoprene-styrene thermoplastic elastomer, tackifier, plasticiser and organic solvent. A thermoplastic elastomer with 5-7% styrene content is used, and terpene phenol resin, terpene styrene resin or styrene idene resin is used as a tackifier. Self-adhesive material consists of a substrate with adhesive layer applied thereon. The said adhesive composition is used as an adhesive layer. Substrate is made of glass fabric; aluminium foil or polymer film may be used as well.
