FIELD: engines and pumps; electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: in electric filter comprising chamber, where collecting electrodes are vertically installed in the form of circular pipes, and corona-forming wire electrodes are installed axisymmetrically to pipes, at that on top they are fixed to frame suspended at insulators, and at the bottom they are connected by common frame to prevent oscillations, inside every pipe tubes are installed with the possibility of free axial displacement, and tubes are made of dielectric material, and their side surface is evenly perforated. Every tube on top is covered with cover with axial opening, through which corona-forming wire electrode is passed with the possibility of axial displacement, and ring knives are fixed at the bottom on every tube. ^ EFFECT: reduction of electric energy consumption at oscillations of treated gas flow due to effect of corona discharge height self-control between corona-forming and collecting electrodes. ^ 1 dwg
