Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to applying coats by means of immersion into melt. A metallic band is transferred through melt bottom-up; the thickness of coating is checked after band coming out. The band is drawn through electro-magnetic circulating field packing a guiding channel from below; the said field is generated in form of a holding field and swapping field; also several correcting fields are generated within the limits of the surface of a magnet yoke surrounded with a base coil. Correcting fields are formed with correcting coils located at angles of a created by them polygon; also there is performed a regulating feeding of the correcting fields from separate power sources; the latter are activated synchronous in phases and cycles with a corresponding inductor. The device contains an inductor equipped with one or several base coils for generating the electro-magnetic circulating field and correcting coils distributed over the surface of the magnetic yoke, the number and location of which correspondingly depends on width and/or thickness of the band. The correcting coils are located at angles of a created by them polygon and connected to separate power sources which are synchronously controlled in phases and cycles with the corresponding inductor. Electromagnetic swapping counteracts side ferromagnetic attraction and is applicable in all known at present electromagnetic packing fields. ^ EFFECT: counteracting to side ferromagnetic attraction. ^ 9 cl, 4 dwg |
