WELDING METHOD OF POLYMERIC PIPES

FIELD: construction, pipeline. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the sphere of surface melting welding of polymeric pipes end-to-end and may be employed for welding of polymeric pipes. Welding method of polymeric pipes consists in surface melting of the bearing faces heated up to or higher than material melting temperature by the instrument, upset forging of the fritted butt ends under pressure and exposition under this pressure within a set period of time, temperature in the heat-affected zone of pipes being welded is preliminary leveled with the temperature from the specified temperature interval by preliminary heating by the instrument reaching uniform temperature distribution, the instrument is removed, butt ends are melt by another instrument, whereat weld seam and heat-affected zone are cooled in closed limited volume securing surrounding air temperature around the weld seam within atmospheric air specified temperature interval. ^ EFFECT: having welding seams in low temperature outdoor environment of the quality similar to that of welding in surrounding air specified temperature interval. ^ 2 dwg
