Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed is a method of making pixel units, containing film grain, for random selection as a function of a given average value of part of an image. The method comprises the following stages: reception of information on the film grain, which consists of at least, one parameter, indicating the characteristic of the film grain, presented in the given units; formation of units of random values, selected from a pre-made list of random numbers with Gaussian distribution; obtaining the converted unit of random numbers; filtration of coefficients for the converted units using at least, one parameter, contained in the received information on film grain; conversion of the filtered set of coefficients for the units; scaling of all pixel values for each of the given units, as indicated by one of the parameters, contained in the received information on film grain; storage of each of the film grain units in a group of film grain units for selection as a function of the given average value of part of the image and random number. ^ EFFECT: design of an efficient technology of simulating film grain, which reduces memory capacity requirements and computational power. ^ 14 cl, 2 dwg |
