Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to ecology, biotechnology and quantitative analysis of substances, particularly to control of content of indolyl-3-acetic acid in water bodies. The method of detecting trace quantities of indolyl-3-acetic acid in a water solution is characterised by that, the analysed water solution of the indolyl-3-acetic acid is successively diluted with distilled water. Each of the obtained solutions is reacted with a solution of a poly-N-vinylcaprolactam polymer. The solutions are put into a thermostat with initial temperature of not more than 33C. The temperature is increased at 0.1C intervals. The phase transition temperature of the poly-N-vinylcaprolactam is determined in each of the solutions. The phase transition is visually established from the change in the colour of the solution from transparent to milk-white. The solution in which there is phase transition at maximum temperature is chosen, which corresponds to concentration of around 10-10 g/l. The concentration of indolyl-3-acetic acid in the analysed solution is determined, based on the degree of dilution. ^ EFFECT: simpler, faster and increased sensitivity of analysis. ^ 3 cl, 1 tbl, 1 dwg |
