Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: mobilisation and excision of thyroid gland lobes. To mobilise thyroid gland, a canal is formed in intermuscular layer between sternothyroid and sternohyoid muscles, controlling location of neurovascular fascicles of the neck sternohyoid muscles are crossed edgewise, branches of superior thyroid artery in the canal, upper pole and lateral veins of thyroid gland and branches of inferior thyroid artery are ligated, en bloc resection of thyroid gland with sternothyroid muscles is carried out, thereafter stumps of sternohyoid muscles are sutured above the anterioir surface of trachea. ^ EFFECT: resection can be carried out in dry surgical area conditions. ^ 1 ex, 8 dwg |
