Zusammenfassung:FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: sprayer includes case, piezo converter acting as oscillator, and spraying unit in the form of thin resilient metal rod with bent end. Bent section of the rod interacts with free surface of sprayed fluid, surface tension forces of which wet the rod section with a thin fluid layer. It connects piezo converter to sound frequency oscillator to excite rod oscillations. At certain rod oscillation frequencies the fluid layer on the rod surface is affected by vibro-wave stretching and spraying mainly close to the bent rod end. ^ EFFECT: simplified sprayer construction; enhanced spraying capacity and reduced power consumption. ^ 1 dwg
