Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to iron and steel metallurgy, particularly to composition of coke briquette for melting of iron and steel. A coke briquette containing off-grade coke and binding substance in form of cement is characterised with additional contents of coal "", and as off-grade coke the final tailings of by-product-coking production are used at a following ratio of components, mass %: final tailings of by-product-coking production 40-60, coal "" 30-50, cement 5-12. ^ EFFECT: reduction of prime cost of iron, reduction of coke consumption, and efficient utilisation of process waste.
