Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: line includes mobile butt welder for coil ends welding with traverse seams, welding and forming mill, external traverse pipe seam welding aggregate. Heating devices are installed in front of the welding and forming mill for preliminary heating of at least 100 mm wide lengthwise strip edges at both strip sides, one device for the whole strip width or two devices at both strip sides. Device for heating of pipe areas with traverse seam and 100-300 mm space around the seam is installed in front of external traverse pipe seam welding aggregate. ^ EFFECT: improved elastic properties and form of traverse seams, reduced cracking tendency and increased efficiency and reliability of spiral seam pipes. ^ 1 dwg
