Zusammenfassung:FIELD: electric engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical network automatics and is designed to connect consumers to backup power supply. According to the proposed method, power plant is used as main power supply source where biogas from biogas plant is used as fuel and transformer substation of centralised power supply system is used as backup power supply source. Some consumers are separated from the total number and connected to backup power supply when electrical power generation by the main power supply is decreased due to reduction of biogas production at biogas plant. All consumers are connected to backup power supply when main power supply source generates insufficient electric energy for consumer power supply due to insufficient production of biogas at biogas plant. Decrease of current frequency by defined value during defined intervals is used as message signal for separation of some consumer and their connection to backup power supply, and as another message signal for connection of all consumers when insufficient electric power is generated by the main power supply source. At the same time decrease of biogas generation by the defined value is monitored at biogas plant and signal is generated to decrease current frequency in main power supply source during defined intervals. After that, initial frequency is restored and current frequency decrease by defined value is monitored in consumer power supply network. Signal is generated during defined intervals to separate part of consumers and connect them to backup power supply. Further decrease of biogas production at biogas plant is monitored, and if decreased by defined value, which is higher than the previous one and insufficient for main power supply provision with fuel, signal is generated to reduce current frequency in main power supply source during defined interval. In addition, time interval, by which current frequency is decreased, differs from the early-generated interval for some consumers separation. After that, initial frequency is restored and current frequency decrease by defined value and during defined interval is monitored in consumer power supply network. Signal is generated to connect all consumers to backup power supply source. When required biogas output is restored at biogas plant, current frequency produced by the main power supply source is monitored.
