NON-LETHAL ACTION CARTRIDGE

FIELD: weapons. ^ SUBSTANCE: cartridge is designed for shooting from carbines, grenade throwers, etc. The cartridge comprises a two-chamber case with low-pressure and high-pressure chambers intercommunicating through an axial delivery port and a grenade comprising a thin-wall casing provided with additional delivery ports and an outer end boss on its rear bottom, a grenade charge made of a pyrotechnic irritant compound and disposed in said thin-wall casing, a pyrotechnic retarder mounted to said end boss of the rear bottom of the thin-wall casing and enabling to form after its activation a main delivery port by means of its channel, a grenade bottom having the shape of a hood with an axial opening and a flexible envelope put on the thin-wall casing wherein a neck of said envelope is disposed in a cavity of said grenade bottom. ^ EFFECT: reducing the probability of damage and injury, as well as of lethal outcome. ^ 5 cl, 2 dwg
