Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:FIELD: test engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: when the engine is idling, fuel supply (ignition) is cut off from the cylinder. The values of angular velocity and acceleration of the crank shaft are measured, from the product of which on the equivalent moment of inertia of the engine, the value of the horsepower is determined. The value of the angular velocity of the crank shaft is constantly measured in adjacent and equal angular intervals of the given value within the limits of the operation cycle of the engine in different modes. When beginning measurement of values of angular velocity, there is synchronisation of the position of the crank shaft, corresponding to the upper dead point of the piston of a specific cylinder, in which the firing stroke is taking place. At the moment of measuring, fuel supply (ignition) to the second cylinder, in the order of operation, is cut off. Further, there is obtaining of the dependence of the angular velocity on the crank angle. The value of the average angular velocity and acceleration of the crank shaft are determined on the section of change (acceleration) of the angular velocity, corresponding to the period of changing of the engine torque during the firing stroke in the third cylinder, on the order of operation. ^ EFFECT: increased accuracy of determining horsepower of an internal combustion engine. ^ 1 dwg
