WOOD DRYING INSTALLATION

FIELD: heating. ^ SUBSTANCE: installation for drying wood consists of a heat insulated case, consisting of side walls and an overhead covering, a distribution partition wall, drying chambers, a drop ceiling, forming circulation channels with the overhead covering. In the circulation channels, there are calorifiers and axial fans, connected to the electric motor. In the case, there are extra louvers, fixed with a gap to the side walls, forming a flat topped cavity with the drop ceiling, in the lateral gaps of which are installed calorifiers. Partition walls have a flat topped shape and are in the cavity, at equal distance from each other with formation of transverse circulation channels. The drying chamber has extra vertical and horizontal plates, installed in line with the partition walls. The partition walls are made from elastic material. The fans are kinematically connected to the electric motor and with a provision for reverse motion. ^ EFFECT: intensification of the heat and mass-transfer process and higher quality of drying lumber. ^ 2 dwg
