REMOVABLE HEAD OF NUCLEAR REACTOR FUEL ASSEMBLY

FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: removable head of the nuclear reactor fuel assembly is attached to the upper ends of absorber rod guiding channels (1) and contains clamping plate (2) and guide bushings (6). Bushings (6) pass through holes in clamping plate (2) and are equipped with stops (9), internal ledges (10), and coupling components. Stops (9) are installed above clamping plate (2). Internal ledges (10) mate the ends of guiding channels (1). The coupling components are designed as collets (11). The collets interact with guiding channels (1) and are locked with locking components. The locking components are designed as sleeves (17). Support components (15) are installed coaxially to guide bushings (6). The support components interact with springs (16). The springs compress clamping plate (2) to stops (9). Support components (15) are rigidly connected to sleeves (17). The sleeve skirts interact with the external surfaces of collets (11). The lower ends of the collets have collars (13).
