Zusammenfassung:FIELD: machine building; air-centrifugal classifiers. ^ SUBSTANCE: a field of centrifugal forces is generated in the classification area by a revolving rotor; gas flow and initial powder are supplied. Fine and coarse grain are discharged separately from the classification area. Gas flow is supplied in such a way that the aerodynamic force generated by gas flow and the centrifugal force generated by the revolving rotor are equal in the classification area. Gas flow temperature is determined and rotor is revolved with a revolution frequency determined by formula: omega=omega0x((t0+273)/(t1+273)0.31 radian/s, where: omega - angular velocity of rotor rotation at the moment of classification, in radian/s; omega0 - angular velocity of rotor rotation, obtained during adjustment, in radian/s; t0 - air temperature (Celsius scale) at the moment of classifier adjustment; t1 - air temperature (Celsius scale) at the moment of classification. ^ EFFECT: enhancing the classification accuracy due to stabilization of the separation boundary and compensation of influence of gas flow temperature on the separation process. ^ 2 cl, 1 tbl
