Zusammenfassung:FIELD: graphitizing, possible use in production of electrode goods and other graphitized products. ^ SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, kernel is formed of electrode templates, placed perpendicularly to longitudinal axis of furnace, space between which is filled with kernel filling. Along the longitudinal side surfaces of kernel, panels made of fibrous thermo-isolating material are mounted. Then, thermo-isolating mixture is poured in around the kernel and graphitizing is performed by heating with electric current. In projection of kernel onto side walls of furnace prior to pouring of layer of thermo-isolating mixture, additional panels of fibrous thermo-isolating materials may be mounted. ^ EFFECT: duration of graphitizing is reduced by 3-5 hours, power costs are reduced by more than 6%, increased quality of products. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg, 4 ex, 1 tbl
