Zusammenfassung:FIELD: medicine, cardiology, neurology. ^ SUBSTANCE: for evaluating endothelial function in young patients it is necessary to detect the following parameters: the concentration of endothelin-1 in blood plasma (CEt-1) during morning hours; total concentration of basic level of stable metabolites of nitrogen oxide - nitrites and nitrates, detected in blood plasma during morning hours (CNO); the ratio of the above-mentioned concentrations; the value of endothelium-dependent vasodilation (EDVD) obtained due to applying ultrasound high-frequency impact at frequencies ranged 7 MHz up to 12 MHz. One should conclude upon normal endothelial function in a young patient at the values of the above-mentioned parameters being within: CEt-1=0.05-0.34 fM/ml, CNO=17-25 mcM/dl, CEt-1/CNO
