METHOD FOR PREPARING POROUS PLATES FROM SILICA

FIELD: chemical technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing porous plates from silica based on the known method by combining polymer with a liquid oxygen-containing organosilicon compound and treatment of prepared mixture with a single aqueous solution of acid, ammonia or amine followed by roasting the prepared mixture at heating. Alkoxysilane or alkoxysiloxane are used as an oxygen-containing organosilicon compound, and polymer is used as a nonoriented or partially oriented film with thickness from 10 to 300 mcm. After combining polymer with alkoxysilane or alkoxysiloxane porous plates are stretched additionally in their medium at the stretching rate from 1 to 200%/min up to deformation value from 50 to 400%. Treatment of stretched porous film with aqueous solution of acid, ammonia or amine is carried out at the concentration 5%, not less, under isometric conditions for at least 1 h. Proposed porous plates can be used as sorbents, carriers for catalyst and for other aims. Method provides simplifying the known method for preparing porous plates from silica. ^ EFFECT: improved preparing method. ^ 2 cl, 2 ex
