Zusammenfassung:FIELD: plastic working of metals, namely processes for rolling off sleeve in multi-roll helical rolling mill, possibly manufacture of thin-wall tubes in tube rolling aggregates equipped with three-roll rolling-off helical mills. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of clamping sleeve, reducing it for fitting it to mandrel at certain reduction of wall; intensively reducing till final thickness of tube wall and calibrating sleeve by diameter and wall thickness. Intensive reduction is realized by wedging outer surface of sleeve in axial direction. Then at least one ridge is formed on said outer surface for further rolling off sleeve. Intensive reduction of sleeve wall is realized by several transitions depending upon degree of sleeve wall thinning. ^ EFFECT: elimination of end flared portion formation, improved strength of rolls, possibility for producing thin-wall high- accuracy tubes in tube rolling aggregates provided with three-roll rolling-off helical rolling mills. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 ex
