Zusammenfassung: | FIELD: studying of strength properties of metals. ^ SUBSTANCE: method can be used for estimation of deformation-strength characteristics of metals due to application of extending loads to metals. New technology is described, which technology provides direct experimental determination of true meanings of stresses at application of extension of sample under conditions approached to linear stressed conditions. Technology is effective during total period of deforming up to total destroy of sample. Method is realized due to step-by-step loading of sample up to its break to receive specific meaning of diameter at any step of loading, at which diameter change in rigidity factor of stressed condition at minimal cross-section does not exceed 3%. Banks of neck of sample are subject to turning to achieve two conical surfaces being coaxial with axis of sample, which surfaces are disposed at both sides of minimal cross-section. Conical surfaces are directed to meet each other and they are conjugated along surface formed in area of neck. Angle of slope of generators at vertexes of cones is determined according to its minimal meaning condition, which meaning provides preserving deformation in area of neck. True diagram of extension, based upon results of testing, is built. Point, corresponding to moment of break, is used to judge on maximal true deformations and stresses. ^ EFFECT: improved precision; higher truth of results of mechanical testing. ^ 1 dwg |
