FIELD: transport engineering; power-assisted steering mechanism. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed steering mechanism with hydraulic booster has case mechanically coupled with shaft-spool of distributor, screw mechanically coupled through piston-rack with sector, mechanism to cut off hydraulic booster in extreme positions of piston-rack including spring-loaded plungers arranged in channels of piston-rack and adjusting screws arranged in channels of case and distributor housing and connected with them by threaded joint. Adjusting screws have cross shanks. Adjusting plugs in form of hollow cylinders with longitudinal slots are arranged in step channels of case and distributor housing. Cross hanks of adjusting screws get into longitudinal slots. End faces of hollow cylinders thrust against end faces of smaller diameter step channels of case and distributor housing. Adjusting plugs are locked by lockrings with possibility of relative rotation. ^ EFFECT: improved convenience in use, reduced labor input on adjustment off hydraulic booster cut off mechanism. ^ 2 dwg
